Tika is an experienced energy specialist, and project administration and portfolio manager. Tika joined ADB as an Energy Economist in 2010 and has since worked on energy sector development across multiple countries in Asia and the Pacific, including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Papua New Guinea. Prior to joining ADB, Tika accumulated over two decades of experience in state-owned power utilities, including Ergon Energy Corporation in Australia and the Nepal Electricity Authority in Nepal, as well as in multinational engineering consulting firms such as Connell Wagner Inc. and Aurecon International. Currently, Tika serves as a Principal Energy Specialist in ADB and leads the energy portfolio in Papua New Guinea. He is a Professional Engineer (Electrical) and holds a PhD in Electricity Markets.
