Hannah Fatima Ebro

Hannah works with ADB’s Energy Transition team, supporting flagship initiatives such as the Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) and Industrial Decarbonization of Hard-to-Abate Sectors, with focus on India, Philippines, and Cambodia. She has almost 15 years of experience working on climate change and sustainable development initiatives in the Asia and Pacific region. Prior to joining the ADB’s Energy Sector, she worked on projects focusing on low-carbon and climate-resilient planning and policy development related to climate adaptation and biodiversity management, sustainable and energy-efficient transport, carbon market mechanisms, long-term development strategies, and just transition. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree in environmental science and engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea.
