Jørn Haugvaldstad is a Norwegian leader in management, technology, and business development with 40+ years in offshore oil, subsea, and wind. He has delivered multidisciplinary offshore oilfield developments and pioneered technologies such as the MC-7 unmanned wellhead platform and the MC-7 –12 MW offshore wind turbine concept. Founder of UDS (later Hitec Subsea) he has founded and lead Green Entrans AS since 2015 supporting clients like Equinor, Statoil, Aker BP, and Centrica. JEC was founded in 2025 advancing renewable energy projects for offshore wind developments. He holds an MSc in Global Management and degrees in mechanical and maritime engineering and is an active contributor to Norway’s subsea community.
