Jinha Kim

Asian Development Bank
Jinha (Jin Ha) Kim is a Gender Specialist (Climate Change) at the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She supports the sector operations in the energy sector, working at the intersection of gender equality, climate resilience, and digital innovation. With over 15 years of experience in international development across Asia and the Pacific, her expertise spans gender mainstreaming, inclusive governance, climate adaptation across sectors, and results-based project design.
At ADB, she leads and supports initiatives on gender-responsive climate action and digital transformation, including extreme heat resilience, early warning systems, and digital solutions that enhance women’s access to information, services, and economic opportunities.
Prior to joining ADB, Jinha began her career at the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate in New York and further deepened her focus on gender, digital innovation, and climate change through roles at UNDP and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
She holds a Master of Public Policy from KDI School and a Master’s degree in Chinese Literature from Fudan University.
