This year, ADB welcomes three co-organizers to ACEF:
- The US Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead U.S. Government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential. USAID has been a co-organizer at ACEF since 2007, and we are excited to be working with them again.
- The World Energy Council (WEC) is the principal impartial network of leaders and practitioners promoting an affordable, stable and environmentally sensitive energy system, with more than 3,000 member organizations located in over 90 countries. The WEC, which first joined ACEF in 2014, is playing a key role in organizing the Ministerial Dialogue, as well the World Energy Leaders Summit.
- Korea Energy Management Corporation (KEMCO), established in 1980, has been at the center of the transformation into a new energy era. It seeks to implement projects efficiently for the rationalization of energy use, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emission and contributing to the sound development of the national economy.
In 2014 more than 1,200 participants attended from 60 countries, and this year with the help of these excellent organizations we expect an even greater turnout.
