Allison Woodruff is a Principal Water Security Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where she leads initiatives in water supply, sanitation, and solid waste management across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. With over 15 years of experience as an environmental and natural resource economist, she has contributed to urban water supply, sanitation projects and tourism projects in the region. Before joining ADB in 2008, she held positions with the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, the United Nations Development Programme, and various Canadian governmental and non-governmental organizations. Allison holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics, a MSC in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Victoria, Canada. Her work emphasizes climate resilience, sustainable infrastructure, and the integration of water security into broader urban development strategies.
