Dr. Ismayilova is an economist with 15 years of professional experience as a researcher and consultant in several areas related to economic analysis and modeling, with a special focus on sustainable development. Moreover, she has been involved different international, regional and local research and analytic projects with different topic on sustainability. She has working experience with ADB up to 4 years. Also, she worked with ECO Secretariat, along with ECO countries for a long time, made many contributions having effective cooperation with CAREC Institution. Besides that, she coordinated projects on Azerbaijan non-oil sectors development and key expert of SDGs Azerbaijan National Coordination Council (ANCC) funded by UNDP, ADB, EBRD, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Science Development Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SDF) etc. She headed herself the Project funded from the SDF (Azerbaijan), which was the winner of the 3rd Grant Competition for young scientists and specialists in 2015. She has participated in three visiting programs in Korea (KIEP), in Germany (IAMO) supported by DAAD, and in China (SOU) between 2012-2018. For her contributions to the Kyrgyzstan socio-economic development in cooperation with the ECO Secretariat, and IDB, she awarded the "Letter of Appreciation" signed by the Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2016.And she awarded the “Tərəqqi” (Progress) Medal by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014.
