Kelvin Tagnipez is USAID Energy Secure Philippines Activity’s technical advisor for local governments and environment. Together with the Philippine Department of Energy and LGUs, he facilitates the development of local energy codes, energy efficiency action plans, and virtual one stop shops for energy investors. As an environmental planner, he has worked extensively with national and local governments in the Philippines for urban and master planning initiatives. He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning.
