Eugene Toh, a seasoned professional in Singapore's energy sector, serves as Assistant Chief Executive and Chief Commercial Officer at the Energy Market Authority of Singapore. He oversees corporate development, organizational excellence initiatives, and plays a vital role in securing Singapore's energy future by supporting the import of electricity. Prior to EMA, Eugene's experience spans shaping energy policy and fostering innovation in the agri-tech and food manufacturing sectors at Enterprise Singapore. Eugene holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a double degree in Economics and Engineering from the same school, and an MBA from INSEAD. An avid runner with a passion for the arts, Eugene enjoys portrait drawing and recently took up singing and ukulele, hoping to bring joy to others through volunteering efforts, including his role as Chairperson of Methodist Welfare Services.
