Ms. Fely Arriola boasts over 30 years of experience in renewable energy and energy access. Her nearly two-decade tenure in the government saw her lead various departments and manage numerous renewable energy projects. Following her government service, she expanded her expertise as a freelance consultant with various firms, gaining knowledge in project development and implementation, financial management, capacity building, project monitoring and evaluation, and business development. In 2011, Ms. Arriola joined ADB as a Consultant. She focused on the fundamental challenge of providing energy access through innovative technology combinations and private-sector business models. She played a pivotal role in developing pilot projects in the Philippines. She holds a Master of Science degree in Rural Energy and Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics.
