Ivana Dimitrova is the Southeast Asia Regional Lead for Energy and Industrial Decarbonisation at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), based at the British High Commission in Singapore. She leads the UK’s regional engagement on energy transition, focusing on accelerating clean power deployment, grid integration, and low-carbon industrial development across Southeast Asia.Prior to this role, Ivana was Head of Green Economy in the UK’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, where she worked on clean energy innovation, investment, finance, and green skills. She has also held roles at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and in the private sector, with expertise spanning international partnerships, energy diplomacy, and climate finance.Ivana is passionate about enabling systemic transitions toward net zero and mobilising public–private collaboration to unlock green growth opportunities in emerging economies.
