Jayeon Lee

Ms. Jayeon Lee is currently the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Division at the Korea Energy Agency (KEA). She has over 19 years of professional experience, including 12 years at KEA. Since joining KEA in 2014, she has been engaged in a wide range of international cooperation and development projects, including bilateral partnerships with Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan, as well as multilateral collaborations with the ADB, UNIDO, and the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). She has also managed KEA’s International Renewable Energy Project Support Program. Ms. Lee was also involved in the development of the GCF project “Supporting Innovative Mechanisms for Industrial Energy Efficiency Financing in Indonesia with Lessons for Replication in Other ASEAN Member States,” in collaboration with the Korea Development Bank (KDB) and ACE. Throughout her time in KEA, she has been actively contributing to international cooperation initiatives and renewable energy projects. Before joining KEA, she spent seven years in the Sales and Marketing Department of a shipbuilding company, where she was responsible for market research and analysis, newbuilding contracts, project finance, and international exhibitions. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development Cooperation from Kyung Hee University.
