Dr. Jyoti Maheshwari is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) India, since March 2022. Earlier, she was working as Research Associate at IIMA from July 2008 to Feb 2022. She also served as visiting faculty at the School of Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, from 2023-2024. She earned her PhD from the School of Management, PDEU in 2022. Her current research interests include Modelling Policies for GHG Mitigation, Key Policy Analysis, Key Emission Category Analysis, MAC Assessment for Policies, Energy Transition, Just Sustainable Energy Transition, Green Hydrogen, Energy Efficiency and Technology Transitions in Buildings, Demand Side Management, Smart-Microgrid, Demand Response. She is a member of UNFCCC Roster of Expert, nominated by Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, Government of India since 2022. She has successfully completed 10 courses (GHG Inventory, NDC tracking, Financial, technology development and transfer, and capacity building (FTC), Impacts & Adaptation) for the BTR review training programme for experts under the Paris Agreement. She has co-authored high-impact peer-reviewed research papers in international journals (Energy, Energy Policy, Energy Efficiency, Climate & Development). She has presented conference papers at leading international conferences (IAMC 2024, IAMC 2025), published policy briefs/news articles, co-authored/contributed to G20 India 2023 reports, and authored several international, national, and state government-funded research project reports.
