Ms. Manaligod is overall in charge of implementing energy efficiency and conservation programs in the government sector which includes all the national government agencies' offices, state universities and colleges, and local government units, electric power industry participants, among others. Specifically, her team oversees the implementation of the Government Energy Management Program which targets the reduction in the electricity and fuel consumption of the government sector by at least 10 percent. Her team also provides technical support to the Inter-Agency Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee (IAEECC) in the issuance of policies and resolutions to further increase the government sector’s compliance with GEMP."
