Lanz Gabriel Jabla

Lanz is a seasoned professional specializing in energy access and rural development, with a strong focus on small hydropower. Since joining Yamog in 2018, he has led the engineering design and installation of six micro hydropower systems, bringing reliable clean energy to thousands in remote areas in Mindanao. With support from the European Union Access to Sustainable Energy Program, and the Department of Science and Technology Region XI, he spearheaded the establishment of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Technologies (ReSET) Center in Davao City. The center provides technical services addressing critical support needs of Yamog's grassroots partners. Currently, Lanz is leading innovation projects aimed at enhancing the resilience of community energy systems. Through his work, he strives to help bridge the gap between energy access and sustainable development in some of Mindanao’s most challenging regions. He holds a Master of Energy degree with first-class honors from the University of Auckland.
