Maximilian Heil

Mr Maximilian Heil is a Business Economist and studied in Copenhagen, Puebla (Mexico) and Tübingen. After working in EU policy advisory on energy, climate and transport for two danish civil engineering companies, he joined GIZ in 2018. First working on continental energy infrastructure and investment in Africa, Mr Heil was the liaison officer for continental energy cooperation between the EU and AU . Beginning of this year Mr Heil joined the project „Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia“ as Project Coordinator, where he is responsible for Regional project activities, e.g. ASEAN Power Grid Advancement Programme (APG-AP), the Southeast Information Platform for the Energy Transition (SIPET) besides others.
