Peter Baum is a Senior Energy Specialist based in ADB’s resident mission in Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea). He oversees ADB’s activities in the energy sector in Papua New Guinea. Prior to this Peter worked at Aurora Energy Research forecasting power markets and systems and advising investors, financiers, and policy makers. Peter also spent four years at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, working on energy and infrastructure projects in Central Asia as well as North Africa and the Middle East. Peter undertook his undergraduate studies at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and earned a double master’s in Energy Policy and International Economics at Yale University (USA).
