Peter Baum is Senior Energy Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, where his work focuses on advancing innovative technologies, including smart grid applications, vehicle-grid integration, virtual power plants as well as innovative financing solutions for renewable energy technologies. Prior to ADB, Peter worked on modelling power markets across Europe at Aurora Energy Research, advising investors and lending banks on major renewable energy and battery projects. Previously, Peter was with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development working on energy and infrastructure financing across Eastern Europe, Central Asia and North Africa and the Middle East. Peter undertook his undergraduate studies at ETH Zurich and earned a double master degree in Energy Policy and International Economics at Yale University in the USA.
