Peter leads Siemens Energy's Grid Consulting business in the Asia Pacific region. The business focusses on the technical and economic analysis and planning of power transmission networks, working with a range of institutional and private owners, operators and developers to deliver solutions in the present energy transition. Peter's own background is the development, design and delivery of power projects over nearly four decades. He has worked globally with a wide range of stakeholders and stakeholder types spanning governments, utilities, developers, financiers and contractors in both developing and developed economies. Whilst acknowledging the challenges we collectively face, Peter has an optimistic view of our ability to harness existing and emerging technologies in creating a sustainable energy future. Peter holds degrees and professional accreditation in both mechanical engineering and business administration and is based in Brisbane, Australia.
