The electric power generation and transportation sectors are two of the largest contributors of greenhouse gas emissions. It is critical to decarbonize electric power generation and electrify a major portion of the transportation sector to achieve carbon neutrality. Innovative renewable energy technologies and business models can facilitate access to electricity, improve energy security, and accelerate the energy transition. Similarly, by promoting low-carbon transportation options such as electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles we can reduce emissions from the transportation sector. The session will focus on business models and technologies being adopted by leading companies in the sectors across geographies.

Objectives

The main objective of the session is to discuss the implementation of decarbonization processes and lessons learnt from companies with sector expertise.
