Stephanie Solf is a researcher in climate policy analysis, as part of the IMAGE modelling team at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. Besides leading the COMMITTED project on EU-Asia modelling cooperation, she is involved in research activities on equity and finance impacts in mitigation scenarios. She is also part of a project, analysing the climate-development nexus for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands. Stephanie holds a MSc in Multidisciplinary Economics from Utrecht University, the Netherlands and previously worked for GIZ in Ghana.

Sue-Ern Tan is Head of the International Energy Agency Regional Cooperation Centre, the IEA’s first-ever office outside its Paris headquarters. She leads the Centre’s mission to work with Southeast Asian governments in addressing their energy challenges including strengthening energy security. Sue-Ern brings deep international experience across the public and private sectors. She held senior climate and energy roles at Shell, served as a ministerial adviser on energy in the Australian Government, was Deputy CEO at a minerals industry association, and practiced as a lawyer. Sue-Ern holds a degree from the University of New South Wales and is an Eisenhower Fellow. With a career at the intersection of policy, industry, and innovation, Sue-Ern is committed to advancing pragmatic, collaborative solutions for a secure and inclusive energy future in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Ms. Sujata Gupta is the Director of the South Asia Team, Energy Sector, Sectors Department 1 of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She joined ADB in 2003 and has worked on the public and private sectors of ADB as well as for resource mobilization from development partners. Sujata has a PhD from the London Business School, University of London and Master’s and Bachelor’s from the University of Delhi. Before joining ADB, Sujata was Senior Fellow and Director of the Policy Analysis Division, at TERI (then the Tata Energy Research Institute), New Delhi. She has also worked as a visiting researcher at the International Institute of Applied System Analysis in Austria. She was a member of United Nations (UNFCCC) CDM Methodologies for Baselines and Monitoring Panel (2002–2005), and a co-coordinating lead author for the Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Lee is a seasoned professional specializing in the digital transformation of the energy industry through advanced platform development. He began his career as a software engineer in 2018 after graduating with a degree in Computer Science (Intensive Course). Following his initial tenure at SKAX, he spent seven years at SK Innovation until 2025, where he spearheaded the development of Asset Management Systems and Process Safety Management (PSM) solutions. His work focused on digitalizing complex industrial safety protocols and operational data, significantly enhancing system reliability and operational excellence. In 2025, [Name] joined Korea East West Power (EWP) to drive next-generation energy initiatives. Currently, as a member of the AI Innovation Department, he is developing Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platforms and AI-driven energy solutions. He is dedicated to developing platforms that lead the rapidly changing power market through the integration of IT and AI technologies, leveraging his extensive field experience to build a more intelligent and sustainable energy future.

Sung Yoon is the CEO and Founder of ENVELOPS CO., LTD, a Korean climate-tech company developing AI-driven agrivoltaic systems across the Asia-Pacific. He holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Technological Systems Management from SUNY Stony Brook. With over a decade of field experience in agrivoltaic development, he created SAMS (Smart Agrivoltaic Management System), a patented AI platform that dynamically optimizes solar panel angles, irrigation, and microclimate conditions to maximize both energy generation and crop yields on the same land. He is the lead developer of the GCF-KOICA Fiji Ovalau 4MWp Agrivoltaic + 5MWh BESS Project (GCF SAP016, USD 14.6M) — the first utility-scale agrivoltaic deployment in the Pacific Islands and designed multiple agrivoltaic projects in various countries. ENVELOPS operates Indonesia's first AI-driven dynamic agrivoltaic pilot at IPB University, Bogor, whose results were published in the peer-reviewed journal Agronomy (MDPI, 2026). Prior to founding ENVELOPS, he served as a research in the Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP).

Syed Jehangeer Ali, is Pakistani national. He grew up in Multan, Pakistan. He is currently working as a Safeguard Specialist at ADB, and taking the lead on climate change standard and contextual risk. He holds an MSc in Economics from Quaid e Azam University, Pakistan and an MA in Public Policy with focus on Energy, Resources, and Environment from Johns Hopkins University, US. Previously, he had worked with World Bank( IDA/IBRD) and IFC on energy, climate change, contextual risk, operations, and policy; and United Nations in emergency response.

Syed Md Sahriar Abdullah is working in Bangladesh power transmission sector for last twenty years. His works area covers substation design, transmission line design, international contract and transmission planning. He was involved in few unique projects in Bangladesh transmission sector like 1st National Load Dispatch center up-gradation project, reactive power compensation project upto 132kV, first cross-country 500MW Back to Back HVDC station between Bangladesh and India. He also worked in international procurement for ADB, KfW, JICA funded transmission projects in Bangladesh. He did his Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electrical Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Bangladesh. He completed his master degreed from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga Tekniska högskolan) in Sweden. His current technical interest includes Power Electronics based load and generation integration to Power Grid. He is a member of both IEEE and CIGRE.

Takeo has held various significant roles in private sector infrastructure finance, public–private partnerships, and public sector financing across Asia and the Pacific with over 30 years of professional experience, including 24 years at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He joined ADB in July 2002 as an Investment Officer and progressed through positions such as Principal Investment Specialist of Private Sector Operations Department, Director of Office of Public-Private Partnership, and Regional Head, Private Sector Development of South Asia Department. Before joining ADB, Takeo was a Section Chief of the Development Institutions Division at the Ministry of Finance, Japan, and was also a Loan Officer at the Export-Import Bank of Japan. A national of Japan, Takeo holds master’s degrees in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo.

Talha Manzoor serves as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Water Informatics and Technology (WIT) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. At the Centre he is also the Associate Director of Operations. His work includes modeling and decision making for socio-hydrological systems, and the application of integrated assessment frameworks for large-scale planning in the Indus basin. In his research, he employs experiential learning tools to study human-water interactions. He also designs in-situ observation networks to investigate vulnerable catchments where humans act as both drivers and recipients of hydrological change.
