Pre-Forum Event

Learning from PRC's Clean Energy Innovations

ADB-PRC Regional Knowledge Sharing Initiative

Monday, June 2

2:00–4:05 p.m. (GMT +8)

This pre-forum event focuses on sharing valuable experiences and innovations from the People's Republic of China's (PRC) clean energy transition that can be adapted and replicated across other Asian Development Bank (ADB) developing member countries (DMCs). The session is part of the ADB-PRC Regional Knowledge Sharing Initiative, which aims to facilitate the transfer of successful clean energy practices, technologies, and policy frameworks.

The event features two comprehensive panel discussions exploring how PRC's clean energy innovations can benefit the broader Asia-Pacific region and examining ADB's strategic role in supporting regional clean energy development. Participants will gain insights into energy efficiency strategies, renewable energy deployment, innovative financing mechanisms, and policy frameworks that have proven successful in PRC's energy transformation journey.

The session brings together senior government officials, industry leaders, academic experts, and development practitioners to foster collaboration and identify actionable pathways for accelerating clean energy transitions across the region through knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.
