Dan Millison is the Manager of Transcendergy L.L.C., a private consultancy established in 2008 which has focused on sustainable energy and climate change financing in Asia. He has 30+ years professional experience including 20 years working on sustainable infrastructure investment programs. As a consultant and former project officer with Asian Development Bank, he has helped mobilize well over US$ 10 billion of investments – including more than $1 Billion in cofinancing from the Climate Investment Funds and the Green Climate Fund -- in clean energy, sustainable transport, and other climate friendly technology. Among other efforts, he is currently supporting ADB's technical assistance program for Marine Aquaculture, Reefs, Renewable Energy, and Ecotourism for Ecosystem Services (MARES).

Dan Millison has 35+ years professional experience including 20+ years working on clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, and climate change financing. Dan has helped clients secure more than $1 Billion in climate change co-financing for a broad spectrum of clean energy and sustainable transport investments totaling more than $5 Billion. Among other activities, he is currently supporting Asian Development Bank’s programs for innovative technology and business models in energy sector and climate change operations, including green hydrogen development and nature-based carbon capture utilization and storage.

Mr. Renner has been a racing sailboat crewman, a business owner since 16, an ex-US Navy mechanical/electrical/etc technician & trainer and a person who likes to make things better in general. While working his computer service business in 1995 he chanced upon an engine fuel burn enhancing device and had the idea that he could do better. In 2009 he sold his business and started working on the R&D full time. The result is that the highly effective, government-verified, university-proven & otherwise heavily tested and patented very low-cost invention, the "Carbon Cutter". Having read the IEA's prediction that EVs cannot make a big enough dent in GHG level goals for 2030, he has been working on getting projects started around the world in an effort to assist countries in meeting their United Nations NDC and SDG goals for the year 2030 and beyond.

Dana Kenney is an energy and climate change expert with more than 30 years of professional experience, including over 20 years in developing countries. She is currently working at Abt Associates’ headquarters, focused on business development and marketing of Abt innovations in the energy and environment sectors. She served as Chief of Party of the recent 5-year USAID Clean Power Asia program, focused on scaling up investment in renewable energy in Southeast Asia. In prior years, she served as Chief of Party of the USAID-funded EC-LEDS Clean Energy Program in Georgia, managed Philippines and Jamaica programs under the Analysis and Investment for Low Emissions Growth (AILEG) project and spent over 10 years working directly for USAID in Asia and Africa. She earned an M.A. in Technology and Human Affairs from Washington University and a B.A. with dual majors in Economics and Environmental Studies from Principia College in Elsah, Illinois.

Daniel Miller has over 20 years of professional experience including over 8 years with the Asian Development Bank. He is a Senior Energy Specialist based in Jakarta at the ADB Indonesia resident mission. He is responsible for the origination and implementation of sovereign loans, grants and technical assistance of energy sector projects.

I worked with different organizations in emerging markets on a variety of programmatic energy infrastructure solutions. These organizations include Chatham House, Suntech, Scatec Solar, Grameen Shakti, International Renewable Energy Agency, and the Asian Development Bank. Throughout my professional career, I became increasingly convinced that our electricity production system can be transformed to clean energy and energy efficiency at an accelerated pace if we provide clarity, predictability, and quality to investors. The focus of my work is to support countries, power utilities and businesses with knowledge, new approaches, and financing that follow the principle of reducing and driving toward net-zero carbon emissions in different end-use sectors. Among others it includes the conceptualization of a viable and financially sustainable digital service model for power utilities that makes efficient cooling an accessible and affordable choice for everyone.

Mr. Danilo “Danny” Aquillo has more than 35 years of work experience gained from the Networks and the Customer Retail Groups of MERALCO. His main role in Enterprise and National Government is to help its customers to decarbonize, electrify or improve their energy efficiency. Danny enables his technical team to navigate the business environment of their customers to provide the most appropriate solutions on their interconnection, power quality and energy efficiency requirements. Danny is a professional electrical engineer, a BERDE professional and a DOE-certified energy efficiency practitioner. He advocates for the sharing of new technologies and best practices so that businesses can address their sustainability and operational needs.

Darshak Mehta, a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Finance from India and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from UK’s Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, has over 25 years of experience covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, carbon markets and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS). He is a certified energy auditor from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency of the Government of India, and is a registered expert with UNFCCC on Clean Development Mechanism methodologies and accreditation related issues. Currently, Darshak is working on the promotion of CCUS in Asia through a technical assistance program of Asian Development Bank.

After more than 30 years in the water industry, 20 years in operational management and 10 years in expertise and innovation, helping cities improve the performance of water distribution networks in more than 40 countries, David decided to take on a new challenge as a professional legacy serving the planet. That is why in 2020 he developed Origins.earth, a new player in the global climate challenge working to develop innovative tools to measure and monitor greenhouse gas emissions in territories. Origins.earth is the result of a three-year research and development project that Suez carried out in partnership with the City of Paris and LSCE, the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Sciences, an expression of French national research. Today, Origins.earth measures greenhouse gas emissions every day over an area surrounding Paris with more than 12 million inhabitants.

David leads NAB’s Sustainable Finance team and has been active in sustainable debt markets for over 10 years. He works closely with NAB’s treasury, coverage and capital markets teams servicing customers across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the UK and USA developing and originating sustainable financing and investment solutions for NAB and its clients.

He joined NAB in 2010 and has over 15 years of financial markets experience across a range of product solutions, origination, structuring and execution roles for banks in Sydney, Hong Kong, London and New York. David has been responsible for all sustainable capital markets transactions NAB has brought to market including a range of innovative green, social and sustainability bonds for both NAB as Issuer and its customers across a range of global markets. These include green bonds in senior unsecured, USPP, RMBS, ABS and project loan fund format, sustainability bonds, social bonds and RMBS, green loans, sustainability-linked loans and bonds plus green deposits.

David is an active member of industry bodies including the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative, the ICMA Green Bond & Social Bond Principles Advisory Council and Climate Transition Finance WG, the APLMA Green and Sustainability-linked Loans Committee, Climate Bonds Initiative, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) Sustainable Finance WG and several other sustainability initiatives.
