Ms. Nguyen Hong Ngoc Trang is a dedicated professional serving as the Project Officer for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (4E) Project in GIZ Vietnam. The main objective of the 4E Project is to further develop the legal, regulatory, and institutional preconditions as well as related capacities to channel investment towards renewable energy and energy efficiency. Ms. Trang holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Hamburg University of Technology and is also an MOIT Certified Energy Auditor. She has more than 10 years of working in Energy Efficiency and Energy Management within the private sector and Alternative Fuels & Raw Material in the cement industry in Vietnam. She is also leading a Taskforce on Digitalization under TUEWAS Energy working group and successfully implemented several pilot initiatives to promote and increase the use of digital technologies in the energy sector across TUEWAS countries.

BirdLife’s work on the impact of energy infrastructure on birds is overseen by Tris Allinson, a world expert in the development of spatial planning tools to facilitate responsible energy expansion. Tris works closely with governments, international financial institutions, and the energy sector to ensure that avian data are effectively integrated within the renewable energy planning process. He frequently contributes to global scientific and policy for a on the topic of biodiversity and energy and is chair of the Technical Working Group of the Convention of Migratory Species’ Energy Task Force.

Ms. Tsolmon Namkhainyam has over 18 years of experience designing and managing projects a variety of technical projects, with more focus on sustainable energy and climate change mitigation. She served as technical expert for three winning proposals, on clean energy and climate action, including Mongolian Government funded pilot project valued at $0.25m to replace coal boilers with ground-source heat pumps. ​ Her work has included engaging the government and development partners for climate action, innovative heating and reduce urban air pollution. Ms. Tsolmon's contributions to Mongolia's sustainable energy development also include supporting the development of various national policy documents, such as Nationally Determined Contributions and National Energy Efficiency Action Plans of Mongolia. ​ Ms. Tsolmon co-authored publication on ‘Development of Green Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency in Mongolia’ and co-author of 'Energy Efficiency and Green Technologies' book in Mongolian. Also, she contributed to CCAC work on integrated actions on air pollution and climate change in Mongolia.

He is a “Professional Engineer, Japan (Engineering Management, Soil and Foundation)” and a member of “The Remote Sensing Society of Japan”. He is expertise for soil mechanics, particularly, groundwater behavior in urban area. He had worked in Vietnam as a representative of ATK’s Ho chi Min City office for three years since October 2016. The latest publication is on a special borehole probe for a groundwater measurement presented in GEOTEC HANOI 2019. He joined a research project for enhancement of the ground source heat pump widely in Japan in 2020. ASANO TAISEIKISO ENGINEERING CO.,LTD. (ATK) is focusing on a geothermal energy utilization and ground source heat pump system both in Japan and overseas.

Mr. Tutuka Ariadji is the Director-General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Which has the following duties and functions: Policy formulation in the oil and gas sector; Implementation of policies in the oil and gas sector; Formulation norms, standards, procedures, and criteria in the oil and gas sector; Providing technical guidance and evaluation in the oil and gas sector; Implementation of the administration of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas.

Mr. Tutuka Ariadji obtained a Master of Science at Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Philosophy at Texas A&M University. Before being appointed as a Director-General of Oil and Gas, Mr. Tutuka Ariadji was a lecturer at Bandung Institute of Technology.

Dr. Twarath Sutabutr is Chief Inspector-General attached to the Ministry of Energy since October 2018. Dr. Twarath has experiences in a wide range of energy policy coordination and initiatives such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and international energy cooperation. His other current positions include Board of Directors of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) and (National Security and Dual – Use Technology Center.

Prior to this current position, he served as Director-General of Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) from 2015 and Deputy Permanent Secretary from 2014 and Deputy Director-General of Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency from 2009 to 2014. Moreover, when he served as Director of Policy and Strategy Coordination Office, he assumed parts of the work with National Economic and Social Development Board in energy infrastructure development planning, and involved in liberalization of electricity and natural gas sectors, which led to his strong relationship with major energy players in Thailand such as Energy Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and PTT Public Company Limited, resulting in the successful development in such energy sectors.

Dr. Twarath holds Sc.D. in Civil and Environment Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, Master of Geotechnical Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

As a sustainability specialist, I have accumulated over twelve years of experience working with both private and public sector organizations. My academic background includes a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa complemented by a master’s degree in business administration. I started my career as an energy efficiency consultant and later joined the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka as an Assistant Director where I played an active role in electricity sector regulation. Subsequently, I joined the Solar PV Industry where I assumed diverse managerial and leadership roles within prominent private sector organizations. I specialize in delivering renewable energy solutions and conducting training & capacity building programs for industry professionals. Currently, I am serving as the Residential/Appliance Energy Efficiency Specialist of the USAID Sri Lanka Energy Program. I oversee multiple demand side management initiatives to support the adoption of a holistic approach to promote DSM in Sri Lanka.

Mr Ugyen Rinzin works for the Department of Energy under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Royal Government of Bhutan. He has been working in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the past 4 and half years. He has carried out several Energy Efficiency projects including the energy audits for the industry, project on E-mobility and currently carrying out a project on E-cooking solutions in Bhutan. In the field of Renewable Energy, he has carried out projects for offgrid solar in the remotest parts of the country and currently pursuing another offgrid solar project in the country. Apart from this he has also contributed in developing the Bhutan Energy Data Directory 2022 for Bhutan and Low Emission Development Strategies for the Human Settlement which was an input to the second NDC for Bhutan.
