I am an Environmental and Social Team Leader at PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur. My main responsibilities include coordinating Environmental and Social Due Diligence and monitoring on projects, developing corporate ESG strategies and reports as well as providing support to PT SMI’s role as ETM Country Platform.

Jugnu has spent 15 years in impact investing, and investment banking with extensive experience in both debt and equity with a focus on fintech and cleantech sectors. She has a proven track record of investing in emerging and frontier markets in more than 15+ countries across South, Southeast Asia and Africa and extensive experience working with and serving on the boards of early and growth stage businesses. Prior to joining ADB Ventures, Jugnu was Investment Director and Head of Asia with Bamboo Capital Partners, a swiss based fund where she led the development of the impact-tech space in Asia. Previously, she worked as an Investment Officer at IFC, World Bank Group where she was responsible for debt and equity transactions in the financial services sector for South Asia. Jugnu is an Indian national and currently lives and works in Singapore. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, India

Ms Feeney is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She commenced as DHOM Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the UN(ESCAP) Thailand in July 2021. Ms Feeney most recently served as Assistant Secretary, Climate Change and Environment Policy Branch (2018-2021). Her previous overseas experience includes DHOM United Nations New York (2020), Ambassador in Belgrade (2013-2018). She hold a Bachelor of Economic and Political Science from Flinders University, South Australia.

"Juliette N. Leusink, Senior Investment Officer, European Investment Bank – Project Finance EIB Global Mrs. Juliette Leusink, Senior Investment Officer at the European Investment Bank, focuses on private sector, project finance transactions in the Asia Pacific region. Her main focus is connectivity and renewable energy projects, and she recently closed a 1GW solar project in Uzbekistan. Prior to working at the EIB, she worked at the Asian Development Bank where she financed landmark transactions such as Indonesia’s first utility scale solar and wind projects and ADBs first investment in satellite financing – enabling broadband internet connectivity throughout remote parts of the Asia Pacific region. Prior to ADB, she worked at FMO, the Dutch Development Bank, while she started her career as a consultant for the UNDP in the Maldives, where she was a co-author of the UNDP Tsunami Impact Assessment Report. Mrs. Leusink is a national of The Netherlands and holds a Master of Science degree in International Economics and Business Studies and a Bachelor degree in Economics – both from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands."

A development professional, with 20 years of experience in Nepal, currently involved in the transport sector development, focusing on road, bridges and tunnels. She represents Switzerland as a Board Member for Salleri Chialsa Electricity Company established by the Swiss and Nepali Governments in the remote Solukhumbu district of Nepal. She has been providing advisory support to the company since 2011. Prior to this, she had worked with United Nations Development Programme in participatory planning, public private partnership for urban environment and with Practical Action, in the sectors of alternative and non-motorized transports, renewable and clean energy, and urban environmental services. She had provided consulting services to multilateral and bilateral development organizations, such as World Bank, World Health Organization, Asian Development Bank, Department for International Development in various capacities. As a founding member of Women in Science and Engineering Nepal, she has been promoting more women in STEM.

With 25 years of experience in Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line), especially LNG and dry bulk carrier. In LNG transportation, he was responsible for fleet procurement and operations management for LNG buyers in Japan, as well as the marketing and project management of long-term contracts with overseas customers. From 2022 onwards, he has been involved in business development related to Liquefied CO2 carriers and support vessels for offshore wind power, as well as LNG value chain in his current department.

Kadida Konare currently serves as International Finance Corporation’s Asia-Pacific Captial Markets Lead for Infrastructure where she has worked in Bangkok, Thailand and Washington, DC to secure financing for renewable energy projects. Prior to that she was an Agile Fellow at the World Bank CEO Strategic Initiatives Unit. Kadidia also served as special advisor to the president of the Republic of Mali, overseeing investment and major projects at the national and regional levels. Kadidia is a passionate social entrepreneur who aspires to bring prosperity to the African continent through entrepreneurship. She is the co-founder of the Impact Hub Bamako in Mali, an innovation lab and incubator that brings together young and talented people with diverse background to drive long-term positive impact. She is also a member of the African Leadership Network, a community of the most dynamic and influential young African leaders working to create change in Africa and to develop three million leaders for Africa. Kadidia holds a master’s degree of public administration in international development (MPA/ID) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School; a master’s degree in agricultural economics and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University."

Kaiser Merz C. Marcelino is currently Lead for the Improvement of the Performance of Electric Utilities of the USAID Energy Secure Philippines (ESP) Activity. He led the implementation of various computer management system such as Geographical Information System (GIS) in South Cotobato II Electric Cooperative and Work Order and Asset Management System (WOAMS) in MORE Electric and Power Corporation. He also provided various regulatory and policy framework support to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) and the Department of Energy (DOE) such as the Battery Energy Storage Systems, Advance Meter Infrastructure, Electric Vehicle and Charging Station, and Cybersecurity. Currently, he leads three projects under USAID ESP's Grants under Contract: 1) implementation of RE-powered marine transport; 2) deployment and development of an energy emergency operations center and RE-powered mobile energy systems; and, 3) development of a RE-powered women's center. He is also engaged in Smart Grid and Green Plan and the Nuclear Energy Policies of the DOE. Mr. Marcelino is a registered electrical engineer with experience in electric distribution systems planning, distribution impact studies, integration of variable renewable energy and fossil-based energy, and project development and management, among others. He also has postgraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) and Business Administration.

Kajol is a Senior Manager with the Energy program at WRI India. She leads the industrial decarbonisation work, with an objective to ensuring the enhancement of energy efficiency and clean energy in industries, and towards successful progress for energy transition in India. Her primary focus is integrating energy efficiency and clean energy activities in MSMEs, supply chain and tracking new and innovative low carbon and energy technologies. Prior to joining WRI India, Kajol worked as Assistant Director at National Productivity Council (Ministry of Commerce and Industry). She holds a master’s in technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Bio

Kamia currently works at Indonesia's State Electricity Company (PLN) as the Manager of Climate Change. She has been involved in carbon credit projects since 2009 and actively participated in climate change discussions, including several UN Climate Change Conferences.

Kamia completed her Ph.D. degree in Energy and Climate Change at the University of Twente in 2019. She continues her affiliation with the University of Twente as a visiting scholar since then. In June 2020, she was selected as a research fellow of the 4TU Resilience Engineering, the Dutch Knowledge Center in Resilience Engineering of the four universities of technology in the Netherlands.

She published numerous papers in high-ranked scientific journals (e.g. Applied Energy, Energy Policy, Cleaner Production) and has presented her works at numerous international conferences. She also writes articles for The Jakarta Post, The Conversation, Channel News Asia and Energy Reporters. She was recently selected as an expert reviewer of the Second Order Draft Working Group II of the Sixth IPCC Assessment Report (AR6). In 2018, she served on an Expert Panel at the UN Climate Change Conference COP24 discussing the topic of Young Professionalism for Climate Resilience.
