ACEF 2018 will take place during the week of 4 to 8 June. The Main Forum will last two days from 6 to 7 June, and will feature a combination of plenary sessions, presentations, and panel discussions. In addition, there will be several Deep Dive Workshops during 5 and 8 June hosted by ADB and partner organizations.

Deep Dive Workshops (DDWs): ACEF 2018 will feature several Deep Dive Workshops on Tuesday 5 June and Friday 8 June. Each DDW is organized by one or more ACEF partner organizations, and will provide participants with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of specific topics of interest. Knowledge Networking Sessions: This year ACEF will offer participants two different knowledge networking sessions. They are "ADB on the Ground" (Wednesday 6 June) and "Knowledge Dim Sum with Clean Energy Entrepreneurs" (Thursday 7 June).

Plenaries: ACEF will continue its tradition with opening and closing plenaries featuring prominent keynote speakers from the clean energy world.

Thematic Track Sessions: These sessions will feature presentations and moderated panels followed by Q&A with the audience. As in previous years, these sessions will be organized into four thematic tracks:

Energy Efficiency
Renewable Energy
Energy Access
Navigating the Future

Each track will include five 90-minute sessions, each with either a series of short presentations or panel discussion followed by a facilitated Q&A session. Each track will also feature a session that discusses cutting-edge innovations within the particular track topic.
